Young women interested in the trades can apply for a FREE tool kit.  Through the generous partnership of WFS and Milwaukee tools, We Build A Dream is offering a program designed to encourage young women to pursue an apprenticeship or post-secondary skilled trades program.  Interested young women can apply for a tool kit (worth $150) that also includes access to career resources, access to mentors and networking opportunities with industry, employers and organizations related to skilled trades.  Our Dual Credit Pre-employment Carpentry program (offered at SAIT or at Picture Butte High School) is a qualifying program.  Contact Seanna Uglem for more details..

Off Campus Programs during At-Home Learning

While all classes have moved online, our Off Campus programs continue.  Students may continue in their Work Experience, RAP or Green Certificate programs provided their work environment is safe and all Alberta Health guidelines are carefully followed.  Dual Credit courses with an on-campus component will follow the modified schedules as provided by the instructors.  Online Dual Credit courses are unaffected.

If students are volunteering in their schools to earn Work Experience credit, they may continue if there is work for them to do and if their supervisor gives them permission.  Contact your supervisor to inquire if you can continue volunteering.
