Adult Student, Resident of Alberta Application

An Overage Student is a student who does not attend a Palliser school, but is  a resident of Alberta, who is 20 years of age or older as of September 1 of the current school year. Before proceeding through the three-step registration process, an overage student must seek the permission of the Superintendent of Palliser Regional Schools to attend and complete an individual education plan. Following that, overage students must complete the three registration steps below, Any registration inquiries please book an appointment. Please complete all the steps: PART A, PART B, PART C. Your application to enrol will not be processed until all three parts are submitted. 

When selecting courses and registering for courses please refer to this page to ensure that the student can be available to attend weekly online, live check ins with teachers.

About Vulcan Community Health Care Mentorship Program: Students were mentored by doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, health care aides, lab technicians as well as dental assistants and dentists. Throughout the Mentorship Program, students completed a culminating activity that explored the fields they are interested in and what they may need to get there. Each project is as unique as the ladies who created it. The entire experience began with the students exploring what they wanted to gain knowledge about. They created their driving questions. Why did they want this? What could they learn from their mentor? Their projects continually evolved as they dove deeper and their curiosity created new driving questions.
