PBB PD Day - Wellness Breakfast Challenge
Today is another PD Day where teachers will be focused on learning to support students. As always, courses will be available 24/7!
To continue our Wellness Theme, time for the Breakfast challenge! This can be one of the most important meals of the day as it is your first nourishment after your recommended 8-10 hours of rest! It can really set the day in motion! Send pictures of your favourite breakfast to jacob.fraser@pallisersd.ab.ca and I'll compile a slide show of favourites for next week!
Not a breakfast person you say? Between waking up and your first meal and getting out the door, perhaps you struggle to squeeze in any appetite or a meal. Likely then it happens later in the day. Plan the night before with something you can take as a breakfast snack that contains protein, a small amount of fat and a carb, like an apple and some cheese, or peanut butter, an egg with some berries or even a protein bar.
